The Launch DAO is intended to take ownership of the entire Launch Grant pipeline, from application to mainnet launch and beyond. The DAO will be responsible for managing and rapidly processing all incoming Launch Grant proposals and ensuring grantees are set up for success.
Applications of each launch must have prototyped a feature-full product. Harmony helps incubate these founding teams with product development, fundraising, and talent recruit. We recommend a $50K equity-free contribution each:
$10K after launching a feature-complete product on our testnet $10K after forming a DAO with 5-out-of-9 multisig with our DAOs $10K after launching on our mainnet with audit $10K after 1K daily active users (with launch video, full PR promotion) $10K after 10k daily active users (with a detailed roadmap, governance process)
Review all incoming Launch grant applications daily. The DAO will rely on the Launch grant guidelines to ensure applications are in scope. The DAO will publicly ask questions on the Harmony forum to further flesh out proposals.
Once approved, the DAO will be responsible for communicating with and following up on the grantee’s progress. This includes the creation of Telegram/Discord groups, regular check-ins, ensuring access to resources, co-marketing efforts, and verification of payout milestones.
The DAO will curate and announce new successful applications to inform the community. This can be in the format of a monthly blog and/or regular tweets.
